The date of foundation of the sanatorium “Morskoy Priboy” is considered to be the year 1920, when on the basis of some nationalized residences, erected here in the beginning of the XX century, a small pension simply named “Group Of Summer Cottages” was organized. Since 1984, “Morskoy Priboy” became a sanatorium and right up to 1991 is under the Crimean sanatorium group of Central Committee of the CPSU. At the end, the sanatorium was admitted to Administrative Department of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine. June 8, 1995 by the decree of Administrative Department of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine was created a sanatorium complex “Dyulber”, in which the sanatoriums “Dyulber”, “Morskoy Priboy” and cottage section Mishor were united under general direction.

Three sleeping buildings and three comfortable cottages were erected at different time. For example, the building of today’s cottage № 7, former summer residence “Chayka” (“The Sea-gull”), in the old days belonged to A.P. Chekhov’s sister Maria. And the second sleeping building-luxe and the edifice of dining room-club (the author of the project was A.M. Gvozdin), its architecture reminds twisted Olympic rings, are the heritage of the last years of soviet age.

Alongside with the sanatorium “Dyulber” in that period, the buildings of actual “Morskoy Priboy” received the representatives of native and international state and party elite. In the 20th here had rest M.I. Kalinin, M.V. Krylenko, A.V. Lunacharsky, lately were on holidays M. Torez, Ges Holl, Y. Tsedenbal and so on.

Nowadays the sanatorium “Morskoy Priboy” is one of the elite sanatoriums of the south coast of Crimea. Quiet measured rest, attentive highly qualified staff and solid treatment basis wait for the holidaymakers here. And splendid picturesque views, protection parks and shoreless, the bluest sea in the world, the Black Sea, will not leave unfazed a person who once visited this land.
